Logo Before
The customer WKE-Energie from Oberwil (Basel-Landschaft) gave the order to renew the existing logo. The challenge was to keep the existing colours and to harmoniously integrate them into the new logo. The arrows should also remain in the logo due to the recognition value.
Logo After
I succeeded in visualizing the heat-cold exchange with a colour gradient. Overall, the logo appears calmer, more harmonious and at the same time more modern. With the redesign, WKE-Energie has succeeded in repositioning itself visually with an updated corporate logo.
The Procedure
1. Briefing
The actual logo design process begins with the initial briefing, which clarifies which messages should be packaged in the company logo. What do you want to say? How can you implement your core competencies visually? Do you already have ideas of what the logo could look like? Should it be labelling (word mark) or rather in combination with a signet (word / figurative mark)?
2. Design Phase
With the information gained from this, we start with the design phase. Firstly I put my thoughts on paper before I implement the best ideas on the screen. Within a few days you will receive 2-3 logo drafts from me via PDF.
3. Implementation
The drafts are discussed and further developed. Your favorite logo is drawn in on the computer. All the file formats (.eps, .png, .jpg), color versions (RGB, CMYK, Pantone) and resolutions (print and web) you require are electronically transmitted to you as a compact file folder.
